Art and Nature for Wellbeing

A 10 week course funded by (BNSSG) Integrated Care Partnership. Run by Bristol School of Art and written and taught by me!

Participants had an opportunity to learn about the 5 Ways to Nature Connection (for Wellbeing) and explore a variety of art-making techniques to support their health and wellbeing using nature for inspiration and the gardens plants and resources as materials. 

They were able to have a go at flower weaving, printmaking, hapa-zome (ancient Japanese art form, based on leaf printing), nature poetry, planting seeds and words of hope, flower pressing, cyanotype, natural tool making, using home made, natural inks, shadow drawing, botanical mandalas / patterns in nature, botanical plaster casting, clay and seed paper making
